XR50 Sano Street

I think that a bunch of you monkeys here might not like this, because you either have one for street or dirt, but this would be kind a fun to take out on a kart track and rip it up............so here you go, and if you don't like it....

Re: XR50 Sano Street

it would be sweet if it had a 110 and enough power to rip buy the guys that are runnin YSR50s at the mini track. Those guys are always nockin 50s. I dont think any of them have seen a 50 that is really set up for street racing though.

hmmm.. And the money you would spend

$450 for the bodywork kit and clip-ons
$600 + for front and rear disc brakes
$ 0 if you stick with the stock 10" wheels
$1000 Forks
$2000 minumum on engine upgrades
-------------
4050 for a street racer.... ysr $1000, comes with disc brakes, 12 inch wheels.....

thought of it is very cool but very expensive. Check out hondaminitrails 125cc street racer, now that is a bike!!! 100mph + for more than 10k... That is more than my RC51 LOL

A stock YSR puts out ~6-7 HP @ ~150 lbs. A big-bore fiddy can do ~9 HP @ 110 lbs. A manual clutch and 4-speed in the fiddy and I think it's some good competition. I've been toying around with ditching the YSR and racing the fiddy in the same class.
