Re: what's the 'best' fiddy 12 bar?

the SBF Bakerbros bar.

1 because its adjustable.
2 because its strong as shiiiii
3 beacuse it wont cost you a arm and a leg.
4 because its not wide as hell and it doesnt take away from the look of a 50.
5 because baker is just a cool cat

yeah i like that whole adjustibility bit, and the fact that you could easily remove the rear section easily, i wonder if he could do one powdercoated black. i also like the fact that the FI bar is powdercoated and extends down to the frame for support though. got any pics of that bar mounted up w/out plastics on? and what kinda endcap is that? looks sweet man!

Re: what's the 'best' fiddy 12 bar?

well, i think my bar is the best!!!....lol

1. it has a double thick scrape plate
2. it has "wings"...lol....so it's not as likely to rip the jeans....
3. it actually bolts to the frame, yes the actual frame, so it puts even less weight on the subframe than the fi bar
4. i still haven't broken it, plus it's got an 8 in plate so it'll stand in the wind..lol
5. it's actually pretty short so i don't get the thats not a 12 bar, it's lke f'kin 10...lol, but i guess i could make them at any time if you see what i'm saying....
'here are some pics...btw, i weigh about 275 and i'm all on the bar in that one pic...

Re: what's the 'best' fiddy 12 bar?

does anyone have any pics of their bar mounted w/out the plastics on? i know that fi put out one pic of theirs w/out the plastics but that's all i've found... and redr1 your bar looks sweet, all it needs is a replacable scrape plate.

Re: what's the 'best' fiddy 12 bar?

i have a F.I. on the way, and I have riden the F.I. team bike. that being said i think the F.I. bar is best. not only is it designed w/ the weakness of the subframe in mind, but also has replacable wear bars. also it wide enough to put a foot in and park 2 gear highchairs.

baker bar is a bit narrow, and looks really cheap and tacky

Re: what's the 'best' fiddy 12 bar?

LOL....what is funny about these threads. People who are "sponsored" by these bar makers always have to say the best things about the bar. After all we have to....WRONG...not with Baker he told me to be honest...he dont give a crap.

when i was going to get the hook up with FI i had to do all this crap (i would have done it anyhow) but it was pressed for me to do it. I guess it should be?

we all know the major price difference...and you all should know a bar is a bar when you are compareing the FI and the SBF bar.

as far as the sub frame bending with either bar,,,,IT WILL NOT HAPPEN so stop asking. ENOUGH OF THAT..lol...you will DIE trying to bend your frame.

either bar is great. but when it comes down to MY pocket and moeny savings...it will be the SBF bar.

get a hold of me if you have any real question about the bar in PM.

Ride hard :YEAH
