So i looked into chrome but they wanted like 400$ to chrome them. i Said F THAT! So today i spent some time sanding and polishing the rim. I still have to do the back one but the front one is done. What you all think?

Ive seen some other 5 stars out there that look pretty cool to but im not sure who makes them.

You should use that Zoop seal stuff. You buff it on like a wax but it's supposed to resist fading and spots on aluminum for at least a year. It's heat resistant to because it's used on headers and stuff. Here is a link:

Nope im either gonna do some wort of sealer like fiddycent mentioned, or im gonna do a clear powdercoat. ive seen just a clear coat over polished aluminum and it peals off in less then a year.

Ya i know im know where near done. Right now im just trying to ge the rims to the point where there ready for a machine buffing.

Do the stock hubs fit in or do you have to purchase aftermarket hubs and the like?

 

they arnt the stock ones. it comes with them when you buy them.

Ya i thought that too, but there billet and ive already tested there strength a little by hopping curbs and stuff.

I look at it like im never gonna have to replace them.

 

mothers polish works well also, that's what i use for stuff....
also..the rims...

Just finished up the rear rim tonight. I think it came out a little better then the front.
