Is the tail section 3 piece or 1?

yeah the rear section is still a three piece, i had heard it was going to be all one piece but i guess not. you should still be able to use your stock side # plates if ya wanted. if it starts popping out like the stockers i'm just gonna drill and zip tie them together.
