painted my frame today. check it out.

So it was kind of a long process, but it turned out killer.

I striped all the original paint off with aircraft stripper, then sanded, then did a edge primer, sand, 2 stage prime with hardener, sand, base coat of dupont teal flake, then clear, clear, and clear.

Let me know what you all think.

Ill post all the finished pics when i get my new rims. I busted my rear hub pretty bad a week back in a small little accident.

It looks alot better now. Was it hard to get all the stock paint off of the frame? I did my swingarm and that took me about an hour and a half.

I used Aircraft stripper. You can get it from any old automotive paint shop. Just spray that **** on leave it on over night and in the morning hit it with some scotch bright pad. If there is still some paint stuck in the cracks use a dremmel with a wire brush attachment.

Piece of cake.

My frame and swingarm are getting sandblasted right now. Is that spray paint you used?

Re: painted my frame today. check it out.

Why Did You Strip The Frame? All You Had To Do Was Wet Sand It And Scuff It To Scuff The Clear, Then Spray Your Sealer Let Ur Sealer Tack Then Spray Your Color And Clear. And If You Were Gona Strip It Why Not Just Blast It?
