in a long time

kx is 17or 18's
dirttrackin we use 19's

just found this
17 tooth countershaft sproket
with a 26 tooth rear sproket
now put that on your stock fiddy and see how fast itll go
if itll pull it

Every full mx bike except a 500 has a 19 inch rear. I was using my bike because I look at lots of stuff for it. I can see were you get that 1 tooth front equals so many rear, but it changes with gearing.
If you look at this ratio chart you will see that it changed with size.

As you go farther down and stay left it is close to 6 differance. Up and left it is 3. Up and right it is 2. And down and right it is 3. It does chage It guess, but not by the final ratio (f/r). And thanks Fab5. I read alot of your stuff and pick up on it.

I don't think you can fit a 17 tooth front sprocket on at least a Z50. The chain is very close to rubbing the case on the top with a 16 tooth countersprocket.
