Tire combo

I need to buy new tires for the fiddy and was wondering about sizes and combo. I would like street tires and nobbies but don't want to change them every time I go out. I was thinking of getting street tires on front and back. Then I could just change the rear whenever I go out dirt riding, does anyone know if just a street tire on the front matters in the dirt as long as I have a knobby on the back ?? Also sizes, on ebay there a dealer saying 2.50-10 is better for front and rear and another dealer said 3.00-10 is better on both wheels. I plan on riding mostly street so what's the better size ?

i felt the same way, still wanted to do the occastional offroad excursions... i got these 2.75x10" cheng shins and i love'em, they still rock in the grass and dirt (but suck in the mud). only $25 for the pair. https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/att...chmentid=60367

Re: Tire combo

Street tires do suck on grass and mud bro.... the Chen Shings are pretty cheap but ok tires i guess... and about size.... i got 2.50 on my st tires and they fit just perfect... i seen people with 3.0 and they look way too big..... now on my Dunlop MX tires.. the rear is a 2.75...

Re: Tire combo

If you are going to do the combo, I would keep a mx tire on the front , unless your into practicing stoppies a lot.

Re: Tire combo

www.onoffroad.com - but the reason i got'em a lil cheaper is cause they wanted to stick me on shipping so i bought two pairs for imprezawd and i to save some cash, not sure how much though. also check http://www.motorhelmets.com/htm1/bod...ires-table.htm they have good prices too. the tires are sweet they scream during burnouts and skids, i like'em.

they look good for sure, more of a sport bike looking tire i really doubt you will be disappointed. what site did you end up getting them from.. I ordered mine through my local dealer so i didn't have shipping at it was like 24 but they are in bfe so i would rather spend 2 extra bux to get them to my door the next time.

street tires are so much easier to ride on.. I cant even do circles on the stock tires without them washing out on me
