UNI Filter Question.......

I'm thinking about getting a uni filter, will I need to change the jet? If so where do I buy one and how much are they?

I have a BBR pipe and Unifilter, no jet change.....im about 800ft above sea leavel..........i did have to adjust the air settings on the carb.......thats it....

well, i dunno if i'd change the jet, but at least drop the needle...but some guys say that if you change the jet stock you can gain a little???

Take off the carburator, take off the two screws on the bottom of the carb. Remove the bowl of the carbuator, which is the bottom part. It is the brass circle in the almost dead middle. Take it out with a screwdriver or wrench. Be careful not to strip it because it is brass. Replace and reassemble.

Yup, the brass thing is the jet. My advice is to buy the 60 main jet first. So when you take the carb apart, you know exactly what you are looking for.

I got the K&N 62 main jet thing has mucho gusto down low now.

Or maybe it's just the loud noise of the K&N that make you think your going fast?

I just went down to the local Honda dealer...They had the k&n and the 60 Jet in stock
