Re: are pipes worth it

with the stock head all pipes are about the same. My friend has an fmf set up and he has more torque...on the other hand my other friend has a big gun with everything else the same and the big gun has just a bit more top end but unless you are paying close attention then you won't notice...you'll like the fmf but if you are looking for performance then get the big bore with the classic honda pipe

that's what i'd think too... i would think that you might pick up some top end power but loose out on torque. not a good trade-off for stunters.

Re: are pipes worth it

You will experience some hp and thottle gains with a pipe and a properly jetted carb but if you want BIG performance you need a Big Head, Carb and a Pipe. Then you can really unleash the beast in your little bike.

Lol i just put a uni filter in mine and i felt a large differece. Now when i race my dad down the streets, instead of winning by one 50 length i blow him away by at least 2.5 car lengths. And i plan on getting a pipe soon heh. Stuck between 2 brothers and Sano. Because check this right up on the new gen 2 bros pipe.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2459422964

Thats a new shape and all from what i remember. Thats the good thing about 2 bros. Advancing there technology. What do you guys think. Now i'm more 2 bros then sano, will be ordering pipe and kitaco rev box in the next few days.

Re: are pipes worth it

ok...i weigh in at around 210 and motor wise all i have done with mine is put K&N's on and an FMF power core 4 and i take all the guys out of the hole and keep up pretty well on top. Only the lighter guys with the same pipe take me on the straights. without a big bore though i know one thing you dont want... the pro circuit one is bad... i kill that one out the hole and if by chance they get ahead of me somewhere within 50ft i'm back out front...just my

, they are the same thing, titanium is just made of titanuim and lighter. And more costly. I read it adds 20% mroe power at low rpms, meainly it does do anything. Then when you get an ishock it will hit your swingarm. But it looks cool.
