Tales of GixxerNick part 1
Everybody here knows I hang out and ride with nick and that I often give him **** about his bike and the fact that he is 19. He thinks he is god's gift to women, bikes and the world in general. Afterall he is mister 12 inch bunnyhop. 
I'm sure most of you will enjoy the email below. Its from my mechanic friend who has the dyno and works on my 50. He sent this to me last night at 1:00 a.m. when he finished Nick's bike. He dropped it off with me Sunday night because it wouldn't kick over whatsoever and felt like it had zero compression.

its ready,, bottom line is the clutch was way out of adjustment, i pulled the clutch cover to check everything,, removed a few chunks of metal from when the clutch cover was broken before, someone filled the hole with a washer and epoxy but never pulled the pieces out of the case, i refilled it with 10/40 golden spectro. the clutch adjuster is a little mangled but it still works. it was missing an o-ring so its my guess that he was trying to stop the oil leak by tightening the adjuster till it forced the clutch to slip,, it was royally jammed, while it was here i also fixed the rear brake and the carb, the brakes were held together with a coat hanger and a paper clip, the carb i just flushed the **** out of it and set the mixture. it wouldnt idle unless you kept blipping the throttle. i could spend a few more hours fixing other things, wires, hoses, suspension, but i didnt want to get carried away...clutch and kick start work good, and it runs much better now. by the way,,, its the pipe that makes the diff. on the xr. it flows way better than the z, very close to your big gun, 4.2 hp and 40 mph top end. he needs carb,porting and gears to catch you but his tires are much nicer,, smooth like petes. yours did 3.8 when you had the little carb and no cam,,,, get me another $50 for this one. he should be happy as ****. he could have done some major damage. its sitting where you left it, come get it any time. thanks,, ron

coat hangers and duct tape fix EVERYTHING.
**** eddie I should have you the new clutch cover I had instead of that POS that's on there now. I knew it had something to do with that, your boy is right on
