Dont run crappy car oil. It doesnt protect the clutch to well. It does an ok job, but i run honda hp-4 (i think tahts the name) in my 50.

Re: xrfiddy oil?

car oil is a no-no, you should never run that stuff, it has particulates designed to keep a car engine clean, which can damage the clutch discs (like xidium said). the honda oil is ok and would run just fine on the fiddy, but the best oil i've come across is motul (synthetic blend is all you'll need). it's not too much more expensive but well worth it esp. if you're running a bore kit. i just use the leftovers from the big bike but a bottle is like $8 i think.

Actually there was a disscusion on a different board about how you can run car oils in ur bike, and they were talking about he reving race bikes. But its cheap protection to buy a good oil.

Re: xrfiddy oil?

i usually use the castrol sbk oil, but i'm using some conventional valvoline for break in on the 88cc kit, i just put some syn gtx in it bc the mc store was closed today, but next time i change the oil it'll get the castrol sbk syn oil....
