I live in Missouri and want to know who gets hassled by the 5.0 for riding and what do they hassle you about. Do you have to wear any gear,stay on side walks, etc. FIDDY NUTS!

I ride with what I'm wearing at the time. No helmet or anythin. If I ride I ride the sidewalks or the parking lots. Sometimes I go to the parks and ride around in the woods and walking paths.

The police hassle me about the helmet thing, and I'm not allowed to drive it off my property. The police in my town are actually against eachother somewhat. Half of them are modern day *****, the other half are pretty nice. The nice ones are usually busy trying to get the bad cops to take it easy. If I get stopped by a badcop, it's obvious. You just better hope a good cop comes along to make sure ya ain't gettin in too much trouble. The good cops can't come and save you every time, if they don't, the badcops give you tickets. It's really wierd. As long as no "citizen" complains of me riding, the could care less.

no cops yet, we ride in a parking lot, the cops will come and talk to us there, i ride the fiddy around campus and no cops bother me there, i also ride up and down my street and no cops bother me here, everyone keeps calling my 50 a scooter though, my professors will see me riding around campus and say, "man, thats a cool little scooter" so as long as everyone keeps thinking its a scooter i don't think i'll have any problems...

I live in missouri too and Ive only been stopped by a cop once and that was because it was like the day before christmas and we were riding in a CROWDED parking lot. The fiddys are legal in missouri anyways. You just have to have a drivers liscense and a flashlight taped to the fender and a reflector on the rear if ur riding at night. Just do a search on yahoo for missouri moped laws. Print that **** out and if a cop stops u, just show it to him.

he had rolled 3 times b4 that.

cops hate us what ever we wear what ever we do so **** them n ride till u die or end up dieing form tickets it gets expensive fast if u get caught luckly i have been let off with warnings n my sugestion ride in indrustile parks they just dont care

at the beginning of the month no but i lay low towards the end cause they give u tickets for stupid **** so they could fill there quota
