anybody have a white 50???
i think i'm gonna paint mine up with white plastics, keep the forks gold, and paint up the frame black.....its all black right now with mostly black components and a stock color frame.....if yougot a white fiddy post up..i wanna see..!!!!

 

Its not a XR/CRF 50, its a Z50 but it is WHITE.

The only thing that sucks is white is easier for cops to see at night.

what brand of paint products do you guys use to paint frame and swingarm ... im feeling the need to paint mine and what steps thx

 

well, ya, i think i'm gonna see if it'll work well, give me till the end of the week, i'll post some pics on sunday night maybe...

 

use the krylon touch...lol, they've got spray paint down...

they make the same kit for my 125, pretty. The only prob is a complete kit of the 125, plastics, seat cover, new red grips, free t shirt, new shroud graphics, all I have seen as low as 149, I will thrown down on that. Same kit for the 50, stickers only, is like 100 buck or some stupiud number, I don't get it. Aftermarket is 100% higher on the 50 than my 125.

white - Patrick Stephens - had his XR painted, the guy painted it with the flex ajent so that it would not crack.......but scratches will show up red.

I'm working on some colored plastics. I don't want to paint it unless its powdercoated. I'm probably just going to buy another frame for it this summer and have it powdercoated Black.

Unnessary, yes, but do you have graphics with 2 chicks almost touching tounges on your 50? I thought not!
