We (the 10-12 of us here) mostly just me, gixxer nick and silver surfer talk **** to each other here all the time...we are always trying to be one up on each other...but it pushes us to do things.

however...this silver surfer turd has deeper pockets than me

but he still has a gay Z50 worth $3000

Looks nice.

Process is degrease with paint thinner. Sand with 400 grit. Wipe with more paint thinner.Prime prime prime. Paint that **** then. Put it back together.

Mine is not holding up worth a damn but I didn't want to press out the swingarm bearings for powdercoat. When it rubs off I just spray it again. No big deal.

Not to bite your thread but here is a gloss black frame and forks.

that **** looks bad ***. congrats. i esp. like that key relocation, how does it fit? would it be possible to cut a small notch for the tab and have it fit perfectly? that'd be the ****, but i wouldn't want it all loose and dangling in there. looks real nice, but mines gonna look much better , you just wait... i should have everything done in a month, stay tuned for pics.
oh yeah and what is the little black box that connects the case breather hose to the airbox? how does it work and is the box necessary or could you just run a vaccuum line to the airbox itself?

I did prep it with 400 then went down to 320. I could have done a better job..however...This was done cuz it's so damn cold out. Will it last, I don't know. Sort of really don't care. We load our fiddies piled on top of each other and that is why I have most of my damage. This would hold up a long time if it was not for loading.

However...I had a good time learning how to take it apart and put back together. What can I say...i luv motorcycles :YEAH

That is what you should do. Is to notch out a tab on the frame and it will fit like a key Did I do that ? NO...why...i really dont care...I just notched out the ignition and put it in there. will it fall out...nope.

That box is no longer on there. My buddie removed his and claims he picked up more wheelie power? I have no clue...but with after market filter that box gets eliminated anyhow....

key

I need to move my key there. That looks like a good idea. With my homemade frame brace its really hard to shut the engine off. BTW its really easy to make a frame brace the cheap way. Just get a 1 1/2in exhaust clamp, weld a threaded rod to it. Then bolt a flat bar to it and the other end to the top engine mount bolt. Ill post some pics later. I got the idea from redrr.
