Studs

I went to the local dealer today to look at getting a flywheel holder so I can get my 110 coversion done. While I was there I started BS'in with the parts counter guy and bought some 3/8" Kold Cutter Ice studs. So when ever I get this engine build done I will post up some video blasting across a frozen lake on my fiddy. 12's on ice would be pimp!

Just installed 168 studs on an IRC tire that will be going on the back. Was told IRC was the hardest compound so the studs would hold the best. Took 2 hours to install.

I was shooting the bull with a local bike shop owner the other day about studding tires. She said they used to put over 600 studs into PW50 tires combined front and rear. That is a lot of work.

i just got done studing my predator about 1 hour ago and I put in allmost 1000. It took about 3 hours to do. I got a bag of pro golds. They work awsome. A bag of 1000 cost me 38 dollars, but I guess when your wife works for parts unlimited we get one hell of a deal. retail was around 60 to 70. go to your local dealer and have him get out the off road catalog for parts unlimited and they are in there.
