Just go to any hardware store ie: Ace, Tru Value and bring your stock axle. Find a longer bolt and a nut to fit in case it's not metric or the same size as stock. Just be sure its the same diameter so it slides into the hub.

How much longer do you think the bolts need to be? I measured my xr100 rear axle and it is exactly 1/2" longer than an z50r bolt. It is also has the same diameter. I think the xr and z have the same axles too, I could be wrong though. ANyone know how much an axle costs for an xr100 and if it is long enough?

no still not mounted, i tried a z50 axle thinking since the tires are wider the axle would be longer but sadly that is not the case. i went to the hardware stores and they only sell non-metrics that are long enuff. Since its not metric the diameter isnt right.

I drilled the back of the swing arm - right above the axle bolt and used some mongoose pegs from walmart and used the bolts and lock washers from home depot........just a thought for you.

my buddy's took off their chain guard and used that threaded hole to put a peg there. it worked pretty well, and they're some fat ****** (ha ha j/k like 200lbs), no mods needed to the swingarm and peg. don't know if it'd hold up to grinds but it's held up fine from stand ups and crashes. i thought it was interesting and it might be worth a try (right side only, of course).

I also used the chain guard idea but also drilled a hole on the other side, in the same place. Got some good bolts/washers/nuts from the hardware store and have been good. They haven't bent yet and they are carrying 230lbs
