Exclamation Temperature

Does anyone ride their fiddy in the snow? I was thinking about getting one for messing around during the winter...

Speaking of winter, tommorow morning--Sunday Jan 4th, there is an expected high of -37 F with the windchill it is supposed to feel like -50 F... 50 DEGREES BELOW ZERO--FARENHEIGHT! And i'll still be out riding, I **** you not.
I'm gonna have to get a pic of me doing an endo on the bmx tommorow morning when its -50.. I don't have a digital camera tho.. we'll see.

Incase your wondering where the **** it gets as cold as -50, i'm in Regina Saskatchewan, Canada. Last year there was one day during the winter when it was the coldest place on earth. For real, it was in the news and everything, it was -52 Celcius without a windchill. Thats around -58 to -60 Farenheight. With the windchill in the city that day it was -65 C.. = about -75 F.

Myself, I was on last mountain lake out in the middle of the lake building an igloo with a bunch of friends. The wind on the lake was real bad, much harder than in the city. I estimate it was about -75 C (-88 or -90 farenheight) WITH the windchill.

No ****, its all true. Weather up here is

Then during the summer it goes up to 110 F in July...

ANHOW, my question, is does anyone know if a fiddy would start or run in real cold weather? Like -10 F? Cuz thats the usual temperature during winter here.

-52 Celcius = -62 Farenheight, actually.

So with the windchill that day at -65C, that would = -85 F according to this calculator.

And with the winchill on the lake it was -103 F!! ya!! Go igloo's!

Right now its -38 Cecius outside in the wind, thats -35 farenheight. Without the wind, its -25C, which = -13F, which is about normal on a regular day with the wind.

Anyways, maybe this thread should be moved to the general forums..

It will run fine, but we put a thinner oil in my fiddy and played with the jetting a bit and it runs fine. I would just let it warm up real nice before you go out. I live in Winnipeg and I knw how freakin cold it can get. Oh one more thing we where jumping ours the other day at the ski hill and its kinda nice cause the suspension is so stiff. I would go riding if I where you.

Just got in from an hour ride urban style. 24° F. I was surprised that my XR hooked up but I was pulling pro style wheelies for blocks. 3" of snow on the ground too.

I'm hella cold but grinning like crazy.

I need a headlight. It will be the next mod.
