Balance point and rear brake, got to cover the rear brake when you are learning so that when you go a little past the balance point you can bring it back. You don't have to hit the brake hard at all, a little touch does a lot. Keep practicing and you'll get it.

either way will work to get it to wheelie ...
if its not coming up all the way its cause your not giving it enought gas and if its shooting out from under you its cause your not covering that rear brake....just smoke some good green and practice till you getit..

You got bars on it yet? I got a stock 02' fiddy and I had a hard time too. Rockin some serious 10 footers.. LOL... Anyways, I rode my friends with big bars and it was 100 times easier. He had the fast50's kit. I was pulling like 50 footers my 1st time on his bike. Got back on mine and wanted to quit again.

this is how i explain it... lower rpm's and torque help, so try 2nd gear (low speed, but enough to balance easily), keep the chain taught (throttle slightly open so there's tension), give it full throttle (from slightly open, don't chop it), lean back, arms straight and pull the bitch up. stay on the gas till you feel like your about to fall backwards (that's the BP). bliping the throttle will keep you there for a while. that's how i'd describe it but i'm no expert - like everyone says, practice practice practice and have fun.

Uh, duh, the spring kit I got raises the rear end up about 2 inches PLUS is doesnt sag when an adult rider sits on it as much as stock, therefore making you sit higher and father from the wheel when its on one, I.E. making it easier to wheelie. <-- back at ya punk!
