When i run the 88 kit with stock exhaust it isn't happy, and when i take out the silencer its just super loud. Is there any way to keep my exhaust semi quiet while still making the happy?


Also what sprockets are you guys running with your 88's to get a higher top speed, but keeping a good amount of torque?

 

If you wanted it quieter stuff some packin in there. I saw this pipe on a quad show for utility quads were it quieted them down to were u could barely hear it. I mean you would make more noise going across the grass than it made. DOnmt know what it was calle dor who made them.

 

my uncle is a hunter and uses his quad for hunting and has a **** load of hunting mags, so I'll see what I can dig up

i want the 88 kit that fab 5 is offering, but it comes with a 20 mm carb and I don't know if the stock pipe will work well with it

i CAN can tell u this. DO NOT buy the classic honda ultima pipe if u are lookin for a quiet ride. i just installed one on a friends with a 88 kit and my god is it loud!!! sounds like a 400ex with a big bore not a damn fiddy. hahaha i love it.

 

You should try an adjustable pipe. I just got the Pro-Tec Mach 1 exhaust with the Adjustable Noise Suppressor. Its a great pipe that can be quieted down easily or opened up for max power.

i was thinking about how much louder my bore kit will make the fiddy, i love the stealth sleeper sound but the extra power is more than worth a little added noise. how did you bore kit make it sound? (tuned properly or course)

I HAVE 88CC KIT, RACE CAM, K/N AIR FILTER AND FMF EXHAUST AND ITS LOUD BUT NOT AS LOUD AS STOCK EXHAUST WITH THE CAP OFF OF IT AND STOCK FRONT SPROCKET AND 34 TOOTH REAR. U CAN CUT THE SPARK ARRESTER OUT OF THE STOCK PIPE AND IT WILL FLOW A LITTLE BETTER BUT IT IS LOUDER THAN STOCK.

 

Will a stock exhaust w/ the spark arrester cut (already did that) flow enough air for the big bore kit? I heard yes - just wanna make sure.

I back this statement up 100% if you are looking for stealth do not even attempt to buy the Ultima Pipe...even with the torque baffle it is too damn loud....but is sounds facking sick...when I first put it on my buddies didn't even know it was my fiddy!!
