Question Best Snow Tires???

I had asked this question in another thread but i figured i'd post up anyways....
So what are the best tires for snow??

I have the Michelin also. ***** look big enough to run some screws in for some ice riding this winter. We have a sweet public outdoor ice rink that is calling my name.

I am hoping to get some clear ice on the local lakes this year and go riding on them. I used to do that when I had full size dirt bikes. Just run some sheet metal screws in and go for it.

Wheelies down a lake sound tasty. Maybe we could get some guys together and have a 50 ice race?

Hands Down the best Snow Tire for my Z 50.



Carlisle Snow Hog Tires 4.80x8

I paid $22 a piece shipped.



Won't put them on until there is actually snow on the ground though.

Damn man,where did you get those and do they have them for XR50's?

You could put a lot of screws in those.

I suggest screws in the tires even if you aren't going to ride on the ice. They bite into the frozen ground really well.

http://www.carlisletire.com/ check em out here. i dont think they have em for 10". if they do, they are too wide. i've got em on the front of my racing lawnmower and them things grip.

well, i've got the street tires but, i really want to get the knobbies b/c hopefully i'll be up in the mountains here come spring break...****...just thought of this..i think jetting is gonna be a bitch....
