street/supermoto tires
street/supermoto tires
thinking about something designed more for street riding (80% of my riding's on the street). but would still like to have the ability to go off-road on occassion (just as long as the fiddy doesn't wash out on every turn), and street tires would also make my fiddy even more street legal, and hopefully wouldn't wear out as quick as the stockers. i found a ton of tires and prices at www.onoffroad.com - thinking about these right here...

cheapo cheng chin (scooter) tires for $9 each, they make 2.5 up to 3.5". what do you think? there's a ton of other 3 and 3.5" tires/treads on the site, but haven't ridden a fiddy w/ that size yet. they don't exactly make a lotta dualsport tires and i think the aftermarket off-road tires are too hardcore for stuntin on the street. although they do have the stockers for $10, and that's not too bad...

**** ebay dude i don't like buying **** from there... read the post fool - they're at onoffroad.com, i don't know about those 3 or 3.5" tires, i think they'll be too tall, just like a 190 rear on a 600. and i need more tread than those zippys.
i swear by stock tires. they roll sweet on the street and give ya a little bit of grip when i deside to hit some dirt (which is almost never). i might order some street meats come spring.
Just out of curiosity, did you check the stuntlife store. There a bunch of street tires listed.
They should work decent on the dirt as long as it is not mud, sand or some really hard riding.
try a kenda K324 around 15bones a tire. and they have them in 3.0

i think that i'm gonna get the kenda k313's or the cheng **** c800's. they both look like decent tires but what the hell do i know... i'll prob. get the 2.75"s but i haven't decided that either.
