I ,live in Ontario, so I bought my pegs at Canadian Tire... they were $9... They are approxamately 2" in Diamater, Black powder coated and threded for a BMX. The bolts are available at S B Simpson, or Brofasco. Not sure if ya have those there... Any hardware or fastener type of store should have or be able to order it....... Maybe I should set up a little gig and put kits together... 20 bucks american, plus shipping.. LOL.....

Exactly like the ones you can get from Lockhart Phillips. I am puttin pics up on bikepics.com so ya'll can see all this stuff. the link to my page is:http://www.bikepics.com/members/jspecb16a/.
I have my Kx125 throttle on there right now because I broke my BBR throttle housing the other day so there is no pic of it. But you can see my left grip, it has one on there. Just cut your throttle tube and grip off about 1/4 inch back slide it on and put the bar end back on. You can do this with metal throttle tubes too. Just grind all the burrs out of the inside. when ou put it back on make sure you leave a little room at the end so it doesnt rub and cause throttle lock. Me and a buddy of mine did this and it is honestly on of the best ideas we have had so far. I also have some peg ideas on there too in bike pics of all this I have been talkin about. I've got street bike barends and pegs on my bike too. Thats the only thing that saved my bike when i got hit by a car in KC. It is definately worth the couple of extra bucks!

bar ends

Yeah, you will definatley eat up less grips, but it saves your plastics too, as well as the rest of the bike from makin earth contact. Just think of them as frame sliders for a fiddy. When you get home lay you 50 on its side. You'll see that the bar ends, tires, shift lever (thats not a big deal if you have a folding one)and foot pegs are basically all that make contact. Grind pegs help with this too. They keep the back of the bike from touching completely. So why not put the bar ends on there to raise it up a hair, and give the bike somethin to slide on. You'll see when you try it. Check out my page on bikepics.com. It's: http://www.bikepics.com/members/jspecb16a/01xr50/
I'll put a pic of this on there for ya. L8'r
