I am in the market for an XR50. I have done _some_ shopping around and the best I have found so far is $1193 OTD for an 03 xr50. Do you all think this is a good price? I want to avoid ebay on this one. Also, when I get one I plan on changing the fork springs and shock spring. I was wondering how hard these are to put on.

Paid 950 out the door for an 03 in long island, thing ended up costing me like 3 grand though lol...

 

paid 1125 for an 04 crf50, buddy of mine got one tax free in tenneessee for 1000 for and 03 xr50

 

I'm considering selling mine soon. 03 w/ pegs and new rear axle..couple scratches but works perfect. I don't really want to get rid of it quite yet but maybe if you have a good offer we could work something out.

in this area, 1193 otd is a damn good price. dealers pay ~2300 for a crate (two units) of crf50's, i got raped for 1300 @ coleman powersports (falls church) that's the lowest i could get anyone to go in this area (for an '04 crf). i talked to mfi, manassass honda, and the dealer out in leesburg... i said ufck it and bit the bullet, all i can say is it was worth every penny

I bought my R1 at coleman in woodbridge, I got raped on it but I love the bike so I don't care. That price I quoted was from a friend who works at a bike shop in MD. You riding this weekend?

 

i got mine at chicago cycle center for 1030.00 ot the door with out of state licence when i lived there 2003 xr 50

 

I got mine for $1275 OTD. '04 CRF 50. When I bought my fiddy there was only one dealer who had them, and 3 out of the 5 were sold the day i went. Most places around here want $1200 for the '04's. It was only $975 for the leftover 03's though.

 

i think they pay less than that. i just got qouted 1160 otd. which would mean almost no profit.
