couple of questions...

first off, let me just say i messed up two tubes tonight trying to get a set of scooter tires on the xr....dammit!!!! oh well,
ok, first off..does going up a tooth or two in the back make much of a difference? and is it worth it? is the stock chain long enought to accomodate it?
is there such a way to make these wheels tubeless?
oh, and for the cheap one way valve, ie. for the gas breather on the lid....go to oreilly's and get a vacuum check valve, or the one way vacuum valve, works great!!!
oh, and anyone got any pics of a good, cheap way to make a rear handbrake and retain the foot brake??

To answer your question about the sprockets.

One tooth in the rear is pretty much a waste. Go up or down at least 2 teeth on the rear or more easily go up or down 1 tooth on the front counter sprocket.

Going up or down 1 tooth on the front is generally the same as going up or down 3 in the rear.

I think If you are looking for a little more oomph for wheelies try going two down on the rear.
