this may be a dumb question, but I just bought a Ilink/IEEE 1394/ Firewire cable for my Mini DV to better capture the video from my camera, my pc is an older pentium II 350 with 2 usb ports and some other plugs in the back, but I don't know where to plug in the firewire cable. Do I need more parts? I hate that I just spent $50 on a cable that I cant use! CRAP .

 

yes you do firewire is the new usb it is alot faster and it is an apple product but you can buy it for almost any computer well im not sure if your computer can handle it probly well good luck later.
