I ain't got anywhere to host the videos, but I have a JVC high quality mini-VHS camcorder I use (my dad's old one, I'm too cheap to go digital). I use a thingy called "Dazzle". Basically records the video onto your computer thru audio and video cables. Check it out at http://www.dazzle.com . To edit the videos and such I use Video WAve 4.0 or somethin. It came with the Dazzle thing.

I've just got a micromv by sony its 11oz and fits in my front pocket, it loads thumbnails of every time you start a new recording so you can just jump straight to a scene, and you just drag the video over to your pc, no more watching and recording it to your pc for an hour,

i use movieshaker, pinnacle, ulead, and adobe premier( complicated not for the newbie), there all good for most things, but i'm going to new orleans for halloween and thats when i'll be able to tell about video quality, just had it a few days but i'm going to sneak it in to voodoofest, and see how clear this little camera is!!!!

Are you talking about a massed produced video, or just something to load on here to kill time and show your friends doing stuff, thats what i assumed, if its the first then a 3ccd camera and adobe are what you'll need!

Same here. I use a Sony CCD-TV818 camera. Then connect to my comp with the dazzle throuhg the usb port. Right now i am using UleadMedia studio pro. This program rocks you can do everything from grahics, video painting, and creating dvd format. Also you can put your video in 16:9 letterbox or standard format.

Me and my crew just started filming about 2 weeks ago then we got snow and kind of put filming to a halt.

I want this camera. The GL-2 digital. But it's 3grand.
