Question Choices on bigger handlebars

I got some money today and I'm lookin to get some handlebars for my minibike. I have exactly $220 to spend, so I need a good deal. Now I have some stock bar clamps from a CR125, can I use those and just buy a new throttle and use extra BMX bars I have layin around? I need this to be cheap, and the handlebar kits are expensive and I don't need anything much taller. So could I just get a new throttle and grips and adapt them to the CR125 clamps and BMX bars? I have a good selection of bars to choose from, so I can find one that will be the right height etc. If I go and "build" my own kit, what kind of stuff should I get? I've heard of just re-routing the brake and throttle cables so they'll reach a bit higher. Help me out guys!

'If you want BMX bars, you can do it cheaply. You can buy some BMX bars from your local shop, and make your own clamp....Just hacksaw some off a big bike clamp you dont use. Put them on a belt sander, or just sit there and sand the bottom so they're smooth. Re bolt them using the top plate. Buy an Applied throttle. '
