on my Z50 I can get them tight as all hell... I do them in first gear... I can basically pivot on the rear wheel... or I can do them with some speed and whip around realllly fast. I finish and can't see straight

Just pull em up in whatever gear. I learned in 2nd with big circles at first. Keep your body weight a little on the outside edge of whichever way you are circling. Its eaiser for me to stay incontrol of the bike that way. If you make it half way around and the bike wants to straighten up and go the other way, punch the brake or chop the throttle and throw a little weight to the inside. If you start circling to tight and it starts coming down throw some weight to the outside and give it some gas.

Off topic Kinda: Does anyone have video of I think it was eric from stunters doing standup circlewheelies? I saw him do it at the 50 comp at the LSBB.. that was the cleanest **** I have ever seen on a fiddy.

eric's stand up **** was dope. don't think you'll pull it on an xr though. z50's have that wide *** tire and a big seat. he had his foot in the bar right behind the seat.
