I got a twenty five dollar ticket on the fiddy for having an unregistered recreational vehicle IN A PARKING LOT WITH NO ONE IN IT!!!!
Someone was a real jerk.( )

Four of my friends got the tickets too.
I would just pay my ticket because its only $25 but I can't afford to have my insurance go up any higher.

Any ideas on what to argue when I have to go to court?

I was also there, you would figure they would at least give us a warning since we had been riding in that parking lot for about a month and never were bothered about it before. Next time im running. the

yup thats what the cop said. and he told us it was a moving violation. the ticket onle says unregistered atv. i dont get it

 

NO!!!! First off, go to court. It's a parking lot, PRIVATE... Second, I've gotten the un-registered ATV/recreational ticket before, and it's NOT a moving violation as far as insurance goes. I got busted on my quad for riding in sand pits and got a ticket for trespassing with a ATV/RECREATIONAL VEHICLE, and it's on my driving record through the RMV(no points added though), but NOT on my insurance. I've checked on that like 5 times... Go to court, they'll throw it out...

 

meh you got it easy if the cop's find me on the fiddy i get it taken away and a 1000$ fine o ya i also go to jubee for a night but that dont stop me riding

I hate cops. I live in a suburban area, and therefore ride in a suburban area. Stupid cops always try and give me fines WHILE IM IN MY DAMN DRIVEWAY. I have had my 50 for about a week and it's been in a squad car's trunk twice and at the station once. So far I have gotten out of all the tickets, but it gets annoying. I need to move to a new town...

Thats why you don't give them your drivers license when riding them. Give them a state ID. You are not on a public road on a legal vehicle ... that way they can only give you a city ordinace violation that doesn't go on your record.

 

I registered my fiddy as a moped today! They didn't ask any questions.
