Lightbulb Newbie - 88cc Kitaco Big Bore

I got my fiddy 2003 last week, and man does it need upgrades..

I have New front and rear spring coming soon.

Im thinking about a Kitaco 88cc with 20mm Carb-kit. and Kitaco Power CDI.

Does the CDI make a difrence ? Or is it just a waste of $$
How about a racing Cam ? Does it give a extra HP, or more wasted $$ ?

Help a Newbie in the fiddy world

the kitaco one is pretty good, thats the one I'm running. I went and put a 20mm carb on it , race cam , heavy valve srings and a bigger oil pump and it rips. I also put the rev box on it, it makes a difference only with the first gear rev limiter other then that once your in 2nd and 3rd you can't really tell anything.

Kitaco Light 88cc Bore Up Kit
Kitaco 20mm Carburettor Kit
Kitaco Air Filter
Kitaco Race Cam

Dont think I need the Power Rev. CDI..

They do recommend running the heavy valve springs when you put in a higher lift carb. And an after market exhaust always opens it up a little more

I think everyone should have that kitaco 88cc light bore kit in there bike. It runs great with no other added aftermarket parts. You can add pipes, carbs, filters, rev boxes to the kit, But they really don`t make them much faster until an aftermarket cylinder head is added.

Thanks blown svt
