Here is a link directly to our 12 bar page http://www.pimpn50s.com/twelvebars.htm
, it shows pricing, etc. Yes they are adjustable, but that part is just sliding the bar forwards or back before you tighten the u bolts. If you have a stock frame, it is possible to bend the back end, some people like to reenforce the back of their frame, but that just depends on how crazy you get on ya fiddy! If your anything like us, you would probably bend it..

SB Freaks doesn't bend your frame, it makes it stronger by making the frame a solid unit in the back. Its also cheaper ..Just My .02

You may be right but it doesn't have a wide enough sliding space, and I've never actually seen anyone pull off any trick on that bar!!!!

how wide is your skid surface? mine is 8inches and I can't even ride on it longer than just a tap. Also mine looks to be a little more 12 O clock than most. Please help me I need to bust the ape hanger!!!

That isn't me, it is someone with more skillz than I currently have. Just proving that a 5" wide bar is enough to do an ape hanger.

I dont think it so much how wide the skid plate is but how true of a 12 ) clock the bike is, mine is damn close to 12 and it seems that most other look about 11-11:30 ish not so vertical. for some reason my pics aren't working either. Thanks for the reply though!!!!

It's about 1 foot wide and very sturdy! The ape you see me do is easy on my bike. Check out the bars at http://www.pimpn50s.com/twelvebars.htm

Later........

Niner, he isn't doing an ape in that pic, and if he was would he ride out of it or just drag till he stops? Getting back on the bike is the hardest part about it.

who needs a bar? I like it better without a bar. Thats just my personal opinion though. The bar is like a big blade back there just waiting to cut your *** up. My friend has a bar and everytime I rode it and needed to save it the bar was just chasing my ankle around like it wanted to cut my foot off. Besides the subframe is just as good as a bar.
