been looking into a fiddy but don't want to drop for a brand new one.. seen a couple ads locally for some 99's and 2000's etc. trying to find out what, if any, changes have been made over the years except for the body work colors.. most places i have noticed sell after market parts for 2000-2003's .. was there a change from 99 to 2000? whats the story?

 

I have a 2001 model, and from what I've noticed, the only changes they have made (besides graphics) have been the seat cover. Mine's all red with white xr lettering and everyone else's seem to have the red seat with black strip on top and black honda lettering on side.

xr50s came out in 00, i believe.. so there isn't a 99. i have an 03 and i love it
