I know there are a couple of threads similar to this, but do cops mess with you a lot for riding a fifty on the street. They give tickets just like on a big bike?

 

They've never done **** to me except laugh. They look like this ->

They tried last night but it was loaded on the carrier by the time they got there. PoPO told us who called so we sat on the sidewalk in front of thier house for a couple and drank a few frosty ones and eyeballed them.

Tonight I am going to take the baffle out and do it again. Bringing the police scanner to so we have a little advance notice.

Beat a stock Suzuki 50 badly last night with my stock XR50.

Yes you license goes up. The ticket the two girls above got were operating a motor vehicle on a side walk.
So if my car is not licensed and I get pulled over it is not going to effect my insurance or license?

 

You can liscence a car not a fitty. You dont have to be 16 to drive a fitty either. You dont have to show proof of insurence for driving a fitty. Should I go on?

You have to have ur drivers liscense to drive it though, so u gotta be 16 pretty much, cali laws.

 

Really? xr50's are made for young kids can't beleive you have to be 16 to ride one. You can't be talking about the streets because there not street legal.

 

That is becuase it qualifys as a moped because it puts out 2 hp and has a auto clutch. And is under 50cc or is 49cc.

 

I had a cop get behind me and light me up on my '84 once, I knew I couldnt outrun him on a fiddy, so I cut through some yards, got home, put it in the barn, and watched him drive by five times before leaving.

i was watchin this guy on a harley and another on a fiddy goin down a main road.They passed like 3 cops and none of them did anything....so obviously they didnt care

 

Read the first post. We are talking about street and yes you can register a XR-50 on the street.
