Frame brace?

Hey guys, I started to make a mx track for the fifty's this weekend and I'm wondering if I should put a frame brace on it to strength the frame? I have upgraded the shock and heavy duty fork springs. I would like to make my own so if anybody's got any pics on how I should go about it it would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

hmm, i dont think thatll stand up to wat hanebrinks does, because it goesd from tranny mount to the tripple clamp thing on the frame.

I think those would work good, but still no like the hanebrink set, i dont think the 50 would ever rake out with those on. Here the site

$100 for the Hanebrink...kind of expensive for 2 strips of metal?!

This PRC brace looks good and is about half the price

screw framebraces, once you get a larger carb it'll have to go anyway. and if the frame breaks, buy a Sano cromo one!

PRC has two versions for the brace...one for stock carbs and another for 20mm or larger carbs....they come in polished, anodized red and anodized black.

hehe, i wish i had some xr70 forks. That bike isn't mine, it's my buddy Jon adams(dobe539). those pics are kinda old, attached is a newer one(of his engine). He likes his forks tho, ride well with his ishock he says. And no, they arn't from BBR, they're just regular ole' 70 forks
