Why honda 50s > ssr?

Going to be investing in a pit bike to learn how to stunt. Ive researched the hell out of everything but still havent found the right answer im looking for. I understand the crf/xr fiddys are the most reliable and have the biggest parts market, but my question is, what makes the hondas so much better to learn on? The ssr's/ other pit bikes have a clutch and are slightly bigger in size. I would think having a clutch would help a lot more with the learning curve. Especially with really slow wheelies/ stalls. If no one can convince me to choose a honda 50. Which one of the SSR's or other pit bikes would you choose? Thanks

I have the ssr 125. The welds on the ssr are only about 1/3 of those on the honda. I have re welded the part of the frame where the swingarm connects because it broke. I love the bike but you must know how to fix it if youre going to beat the bag out of it. Parts r easy n theyre all over ebay. I was happy to getthe bike brand new and ive been riding it every single day for a year now. Its not what you ride bro its whether you ride! Get somethin n wheelie it already!

Re: Why honda 50s > ssr?

The semi auto style clutch of the honda 50 is very easy to learn on, if youre saying the other bikes have a clutch lever that you have to use, this will make learning the bike a bit more difficult more so if youve never driven manual.

Im not really a stunter but I would think stunting is easier when you dont have to worry about the clutch all the time.

There is a reason the honda 50 is the most popular of the smaller pitbikes, normally I would be against trusting the masses but in this case it is a good idea.
