I just put a Trail bikes 88 Stage 3 kit into my 50 and it doesnt have as much power as my buddies with the same exact kit but he didnt install his. so i was wondering could i have loss of power because of the carb not bein tuned?? it came with a 20mm carb and other main jets i didnt change the jet in the carb i just left it. i also have an FMF powercore (big bore) pipe.

So does anyone have an idea on why i dont have as much power???? and what i should doo

Sounds like you have the wrong jets in there... what do your plugs
looks like???

 

Is your buddy running the same carb???

 

i didnt check the plug yet but yea hes running the same 22mm carb. so you think i dont have power becuase of the jetting? but like it doesnt smoke or anything so even though i didnt check my plug i think its ok

 

how much faster is his than yours?? what kind of Fiddy is it???

 

A lot quicker, 03 xr50 and his is the same 03 xr50. So idk whatvthe problem could be.

 

Change the Jets and tune it should help
