xr100 motard.. the real deal..

so on my last trip to japan i bought an xr100 motard..after i snapped the transmission shaft ( went to kick and heard loud snap..split cases and saw broken tranny !)... i decided to stuff the good parts into my suitcase and bring it back home to see if i could fit em on to the us xr100... im currently getting circles a lot easier than with the old ninja 250 front tire on the back... all that and a yoshimura 24mm racing carburetor...feels like a mini motard for sure... peep the attached pic.

My buddy has a JDM spec XR100 Motard. Plated too. hes got a Yoshimura 125cc bore/stroke kit and a bunch of other great mods done to it. The thing rips.

Here is a vid he shot from it. Other bike in the vid is my 124+R monkey.

Takegawa does not make a DOHC setup for the vertical motors, Kitaco does and its a 145 kit. Thats the next and final think im installing on my APE.

As far as plating, if you know how the system works you can get anything plated. My Ape isnt a 17digit vin and its got a plate. Even a more rare bike by US standards.
