If you was buying your first 50, Would you buy a new 03 for 1300,
or a 01 for 900? i was at the dealer today, I almost walked out with one. but i told this guy with a 01 that i would come take a look. what should i do???? i want one so bad. the 50z are

 

If the 01 has mods go fer it, no difference in the two.

 

If the 01 was all tricked out, then I'd go for it. If not, I'd rather pony up the extra $$$ to have a brand new one. But that's just me. $400 would get you a fair amount of mods, like bars and springs, though.

 

Get the 01 for sure

 

I see alot of used fiddys for sale in the paper. Most of the time

they were bought for a kid who just out grew it. My buddy got his

2000 fiddy for $800 . It was used by a little girl . Sure beats the

$1100 I dropped on a new 2002 . last year.

You never hear anyone talking about blowing up the fiddy motor .

Most of the time the forks or the rims are the weak link.

got my '03 for a G out the door....then again i'm a dealer and sold it to myself..hehehe

 

Look around at all the dealers near you....My 03' was $1100 out the door.

 

DAmmit my 03 was $1200 out the door. I MUST SUCK AT NEGOTIATING!!!!!!!!

 

Just buy the used one. I got a used 2002 for $750 it's the same as a brand new one.
