Pirelli's versus IRC Street Tires

Pirelli's versus IRC Street Tires
Still learning wheelies and while these street tires are alot better than knobbies, I'm still have problems with my left/right balance and think I have too skinny of a tire on there (or I may just suck).
I got a set of IRC MB38's for christmas and after installing them, they look too skinny from directly on but other view they look the right size. I've done some research and pretty sure they're 3" tires, but the size is 80/90. I can't really find a definite answer. Hindsight is always 20/20, I wish I didn't give the option between the two brands as a present cause I ended up with the cheaper ones and I believe they're not near as fat as Pirelli's....
Does anyone know or have a picture of the rear or front shot of pirelli's mounted up on their bike? I'd like to compare and see if mine aren't the right size and get a new set of Pirelli's ordered from Ryan.
Thanks!

Thanks man, appreciate it! Pirelli's will be my next set for sure... Would rather later than sooner, but I need all the help balancing I can get! Plus they just look better.

Every day I get out there and play, it's coming together. Just need to find that BP since I got the wheel coming up smooth now. Taking a break today, muscles in my hands and wrists I didn't know I even have!

IRC are perfect for the everyday 50 stunter......However, i also ride mini-moto track on my 50. And all im gonna say is the Pirelli owns those damn IRC around the mini track, LoL.....IRC just gives way too much in the corners. I duno if its the tread pattern or the compound. But the Pirelli works juts fine for me...=-)

Re: Pirelli's versus IRC Street Tires
I run Pirellies and love 'em. They are a lil bit wider than IRC's, but no reason why you can't rock a wheelie, sorry. Lol. Like stated above just keep practising. Soon it won't matter what ****** tire u got, you'll be murdering it regardless.

Re: Pirelli's versus IRC Street Tires
I had 3.0s on and then when the rear was getting worn, I switched to some 2.5 IRCs and I ******* HATED them. Ended up putting the old 3.0 front on the rear (still have the IRC front on) and gave my buddy the other IRC. I know it shouldn't matter, but I lost a lot of control and my side to side balanced went to **** the day I switched to the 2.5, but now that I have a slightly wider contact patch again things feel smooth again lol

Re: Pirelli's versus IRC Street Tires
if you are just stunting your fiddy doesnt matter on the tires! i have a set of IRC and Pirellis. The pirellis are a little bigger, but i prefer the IRC bc they are cheaper!

Re: Pirelli's versus IRC Street Tires
Let out some air, will give you a wider footprint. I was considering getting a more narrow tire but got talked out of it, wound up going with the pirellis again.

Re: Pirelli's versus IRC Street Tires
LoL, thats because u use the lower psi to gain side to side control. Once u learn the side to side, u bump the pressure back up to normal. Then u start killin that biatch all the way around.....I was like that one time....But now i can bust circles without a tire on the wheel (dont ask, LMAO)...=-)

Re: Pirelli's versus IRC Street Tires
next you change tires or tubes rip that flimsy piece of rubber wrapped around the inside of your rim, And wrap some electrical tape a couple times around it instead. Could be the top of your spokes piercing it. I haven't had any issues since doing this.
