i need opinions

i need help picking a stunt pit bike.i dont have the money to go out and spend 6k building a klx110 to perfection and im 260 pounds so i was thinking bout just a regular 125cc pitbike.i have an offer to get a sikk mx 125xl pitbike for 500 bucks just to start with.is that good or is it a bad bike? what bike would you recomend for a heavy rider switching from big bikes to the little boys?

Just remember you get what you pay for! If ur gunna be using it for stunting, go with honda. You can always get suspension that will hold ur weight, and frame braces if ur worried about tweaking it at all. You will never go wrong buying a Honda......ride red!!

....i have no experience with the chinese knock offs other than a pocketbike, and an x-18 so i really can't suggest anything else

i had a $500 ssr 125 it was fun to beat on and had tons of power but the suspention failed to be anythign smooth and once i broke something i couldn't find parts anywhere for it other then a dealer and they were expensive so i switched to a honda i can always make it faster. picked mine up used for $600 threw a shock on the back and the front suspention kit from 50 stunt and ride the **** out of it now its a little slow but for now will do until i can afford an 88 kit

Re: i need opinions

xr and crf are the same bike, plastics are "updated" on the crf but they are completely swapable (use the same holes), the xr has a 1 piece rear fender and side number plates and a bulkier looking front fender. I think it was 03 when they got rid of the xr name, not 100% on that but either way you have a bullet proof little bike thats easy as hell to work on. Get one and you wont be dissappointed, and i think everyone will vouch for that!
