bogging and sticking throttle

2005 crf 50 is bogging when gasing it hard and seems like the idle is sticking. I cannot seem to find out why. Carb has been cleaned. New throttle cable. Need ideas. Its not the throttle tube sticking because it snaps back and closes but you can still hear it dieing down a lot slower than it should

Re: bogging and sticking throttle

and how exactly does an "idle stick"?

its because your carb is impoperly tuned, or possibly an air leak between the carb and cylinder.

the idle is just a screw that keeps the slide open, no it can not "stick", just get your carb dialed in right and your golden.

+1 I was having probs just like you....fiddle around with the carb, play with your mixture and idle screws....it's hit or miss...eventually you will find the right setting for you...it's a pretty simple procedure, just takes a little work....
