inner rotor kit

So i'm lookin at makin the xr a little faster...Heres what its got right now for mods...
bbr series 1 frame
bbr 88cc kit with cam for stock head
ported stock head
bbr 18mm carb and intake with uni filter
bbr pipe
bbr hd clutch springs
i have a bbr race head and cam that i'm gonna put on it real soon that i got a killer deal on but i still got to get a piston for it. i want to get either a bbr rev box or one of those cheap *** ebay inner rotor kits. i guess my question is has anybody used one of those inner rotor kits?? are they better than just a rev box???? i put one on my budys ssr 110(pos) and it seemed to work good..but i never really rode the bike before it was on there, or would i be better off just buyin the rev box and gettin the flywheel lightened at the machine shop(BBR does this too) and also does anybody know of any good inexpensive big bore exhaust, every name brand one i've seen is ******* expensive as hell.
