how can i ghetto rig a handbreak for cheap?

how can i ghetto rig a handbreak for cheap? can i use a lever nd perch and cable off other ****? and how do u rout it? and how can u attach it to the thingy that the regular one attaches to.. or is that how u do it? lol

Why ghetto rig it when u can just buy one from 50stunt and have it done RIGHT the first time. Ghetto rigging a hand brake is not worth an "arm breaking"....=-)

Why ghetto rig it when u can just buy one from 50stunt and have it done RIGHT the first time. Ghetto rigging a hand brake is not worth an "arm breaking"....=-)

i just made one out of zip ties for free
i took the front cable perch and lever off and attached the cable to the top of the actual foot brake piece where it connects the bar that connects to the actual wheel insted of attaching it directly.. and i just connected it with nuts and zipties.. and put hella zipties on the frame to keep the sleeve of the cable from moving its works hella good suprisingly

I used an oversized bmx cable w/1 perch & 1 clutch . The green looking washer is for dia compe brakes . Any good mom & pop bmx shop will have everything but the clutch & perch .

my home made HB worked way better than 50stunts or any other HB kit, but Ive also felt some really shity HM HB setups.

if you want cheap, fasttrails.com 40 + shipping. Eliminates footbrake, but all you need to run both is a little 1" peice of metal w. 2 holes in it. Or buy the bracket from 50stunt for 15.00. So then thats 65 + shipping say 85 now. Might as well spend the extra 15.00 w. free shipping from 50stunt
