Re: 50 tubes

run your tire pressure above 35 psi circles kill tubes unless you got a tubless tire you just need to get use to runnig like 40-45 psi use to always happen to me I like doing tight crcles real tight I was blowin like 2 tubes a week unltil I bumped up the psi

Re: 50 tubes

use HD tubes, was going through tubes like once a month, then got the HDs and those lasted like a year, plus(doesnt sound like your problem) but put some lube on the tubes or they heat seal to the inside of the tire, then tear when it rotates inside.

Re: 50 tubes

yeah i am always having to buy new tubes. even HD ones. I learned to patch them and use them for a session. its just a bitch to keep taking the tire out and patching it. but it's way cheaper then buying new tubes all the time. just my 2 cents

Re: 50 tubes

I ran the same tube for like 6 months with no problems, but, ever since I ripped it, I've been going through one every 3 or 4 rides and it's annoying as ****. I put new tires on when I replaced it, but I don't see how that would be part of the problem. I think I need to just get used to running high psi.

Re: 50 tubes

eh? i run around 25psi doing circles all day. i replace them about 1-2x an entire summer, even with the shitty tubes.

only thing i would tip on is running eletricians tape around the inside center of the rim. over time the factory rubber lining will peel away or get snagged and torn on a tire spoon, exposing the spoke rivets. these will tear a tire in no time. if you are swapping/patching tubes often, pull the tire off and check out the inside of the rim for anything sketchy.

stay off dirt as well. i usually will break from stunting to mob around the warehouse lots to hit grass jumps. sometimes rocks and **** cause tube pops.

Re: 50 tubes

i haven't tried it myself yet but i've heard vespa tubes work good because they're 4x thicker. my buddy had the same problem with 50 tubes and he's had his vespa tube for a while now.

Thumbs up Re: 50 tubes

baby powder ur tubes....i used to race motocross and u make sure the rubber around ur spokes is good we ran 11lbs of rear tire pressure and no problems...wen u change ur tubes take baby powder and rub ur tube down with it .it allows the tube to move freeley without binding

Re: 50 tubes

My problem isn't pinching the tube, I tend to rip the valve stem off....
