got a 50
got a 50 a few weeks ago riding it as much as i can. got bar kit street tires and stage one stunt kit.
Got the sit downwheelies down to about 100 feet but i always go to the side or rev out. i think i just need more seat time.
i cant get stand ups on the stunt pegs is there some sort of trick? i always go to the side, im running 15 psi in the street tires.
btw loving the parts from 50 stunt keep it up ryan!

Lower tire pressure is the "cheat" to helping with your side/side problem. When rolling in a stright line the lower tire pressure gives the tire a wider surface to travel on. Therfore u dont have to fight the side/side as much. The only problem with low tire pressure is that it makes circles a hell of alot harder. The bike doesnt want to turn to your weight shifting as easy. So when u start doing circles, ur gonna go back up on yoru tire pressure, LoL.....But once u get the hang of it, u can pretty much run any tire pressure u want......Now your trick to your stand ups......I find that if my weight is off center (more to one side) when i pick up the front. My bike wants to lean in the direction of my weight (which does make sense). So try to center yourself a little more, make proper foot adjustments. Also, are u bending ur knees while ur trying to lift the front? Sometimes this will pose a problem with different riders. Simple because when u push up (straighten ur knees), u push harder on one foot. There goes that weight shifting again, LoL. The bike reacts to your body position and your weight. You have to learn what will make the bike do what. And you have to learn how to correct your mistakes..........Every person is different when it comes to stunting. Some things work for one person, but they dont work for another........Now theres a few tips, u can go by......BUt remember, seat time is the ONLY thing that will teach you how to stunt.....=-)
PS: U talked about reving out. What u need to do is give it less throttle and control the weight more. Once u learn the balance point, u can use your rear brake to help steady it. You dont need to wind all the way through the gear. You simple just need to get it up and control it with the brake. If it starts to drop, give it a little throttle and get back to the BP. Then once again, use ur brake to control it.......Throttle and brake, u have to learn them.....Too much throttle will always run u out of gear...=-)

Re: got a 50
thanks for the reply bro! im workin the rear brake and i think i hit bp sometimes but im still inconsistant (sp?).
you think i should run less than 15 psi in the rear till i get used to it?

Re: got a 50
No, Bump it to 30-35 and learn that way...Itll just make you learn slower cause once you go for circles youll have to bump it up then you wont be able to come into a circle from a straight line
Re: got a 50
Basically just practice and seat time will get you brake control, its called muscle memory (wiki it). Just like knowing how fast to let out the clutch of a car/bike relative to where in the revs you are

getting the sit downs real good now i dont have blocks yet but i do i have one block
next im going to inflate my tires a bit and get used to wheelieing again
ive been messing around a bit with stoppies and i cant get them to roll i pull up the back tire and just stop and if i let off the lever just a little i just go back down. how fast should i be going?

I am no expert at stand up but getting a lot better in the last few days. When I straight stand up I find it harder to get ballance. What I found easier is to start a sit down wheely with your feet on the rear pegs. I automatically adjust weight side to side with legs, when it is going straight, stand up!
