CRF50 can be decieving!

These little bikes look so cute and harmless. I took mine out today for pretty much the first time to start learning break control. I was in shorts and Tshirt. Now I have a really scrapped up knee, arm and leg. Lol, Im scraped up pretty bad.

But hey! I really started to get it down. I was actually trusting the rear brake and riding wheelies a long distance, and even slowing them down. I dont think it will take much longer before it will be second nature. Now instead of a loose dirt road I need to get out on some asphalt or pavement.

Rear hand brake will give u a bit more sense of control....Basically u can look for it in those "Oh ****" moments....=-)

I've grabbed mine a few times during those times. Only problem is when u grab it too hard. The 'Oh ****" moment tends to throw u over the bars, LMAO.....=-)

Just keep at it.

I just learned rear brake control fully about a month ago after a year of riding. Since then I have been able to pull more tricks in a week than I have done in a whole year of riding.

Im actually getting it down pretty damn good. I already knew it second nature on a bicycle. Problem is that I didnt know the foot pedal, and not used to the engine. But I am having some serious difficulty getting the wheelies down where I put my left foot on the rear axle stunt peg, and right foot on the right normal peg for brake control. Every time I pull it up, the bike falls to the left or right, right away. It seems like it should be easier, but Im really having some trouble here.

I want to get a handbrake here soon, but I want to get the foot pedal down to a science. Big bike HB setups are pretty expensive, dont know when I am going to get one for the 954 yet...
