Vented valve cover?

Vented valve cover?

who's rocking this vented set-up and if so what are the benefits of having it?

I had an old fifty with an 88 kit that someone else built that had a vented fuel intake valve cap like that. Just pissed crap on my leg in certain trick situations.

I think the idea is, by venting, you take any back pressure off the intake valve therefore freeing it to move easily on both sides of the valve stroke. Usually only benefits bikes with larger than 49cc displacement kits and larger carbs.

Dont think it will help a stocker much.

ive got one on my fiddy........ its suspose to be like a "clean air" mod to keep oil off the filter..... dont know how great it actually works but i got it for free so i took it
