lifan motor

Hey,
Anyone ever put a lifan motor in a fiddy? I am thinking of going with a 138cc lifan in it. Just to make it more fun to ride and i would like the manual clutch and the 4 spd trans. Anyone ever use a lifan motor? and if so how reliable are they?
Thanks

Umm i had a 110cc Lifan and the motor was garbage (chinese made POS). I bought my crf50 and i've never had a problem with it. The Honda will take beating after beating and its reliable as hell. They also make a manual clutch for the crf50. Just buy one and install it (if u think u need a clutch that bad)....IMO, just keep with the Honda motor and maybe upgrade to an 88cc kit (if u want more power)....=-)

I had a pit bike with the lifan 138 motor and that thing was a ton of fun! 4th gear like 40-50mph wheelies. And it was a lot of fun in the dirt as well.I got rid of it though to build a crf 50 with a 88cc kit but haven't got around to it and I REALLY miss that bike!
