50 sunt billet throttle bodies...How sturdy are these???
50 sunt billet throttle bodies...How sturdy are these???
I broke my stock one once before and again yesterday trying to learn one handed stand up circles...the bike kept geeting away from me and actual got air twice...
I was wondering how much abuse does Ryan Moore's Billet throttle body take?
http://www.esd-mfg.com/50stunt/contr...t_throttle.htm
or should I just buy a bunch of plastic ones and keep replacing them as needed?
http://www.esd-mfg.com/50stunt/contr...c_throttle.htm
And I mean abuse! I binned my 50 atleast 15 times yesterday bending the foot brake, and shifter. Snaping my front brake control and cracking the stock throttle body.. I was hoping people on here have had experience with the billet one. How strong is it?

bar ends help too!

^^^
Thats damn smart! I gotta do something like that!
Thanks guys but it wasnt the tube that broke it was the throttle body housing where the cable goes in to conect to the tube.
And Yeah I will try some bar ends but the thing is my 50 landed upside down twice yesterday breaking the mounting brackets for the front brake lever.....must have been just shitty luck..
On the bright side I got a few one handed circle down...
Note - The layers of gear is cuz its bloody freezing here in Vancouver now!

I believe the 50stunt billet throttle is designed to fit larger diameter bars . ryan would have to say it is , for sure .
And don't clamp the lever perches to the bars so tight . And move them inward , so the tips don't stick out far .
If you leave the perches only snug on the bar , if they hit they will spin and not break .

You won't bust my throttle, all of the parts I make are made to take a beating on the street. Push your levers inward and down, then put the bike on its side to make sure they dont hit when you toss your bike, and you should be good to go, then the bar ends help from bustin up throttles, grips, and levers.
The only problem is, I just sold out for billet throttles and its gonna take me a couple weeks to finish the batch I'm workin on right now.
