Re: pics of the everyones 50s
Thanks Wrek for noticing.... Had to keep the plastics safe and throw some whites on just to learn some new sicker things. Check it out with the new ***** Hoop. https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/13-...urday-its.html
Re: pics of the everyones 50s
Hell no, nothing is welded unless it's frame supports. That hoop, nicknamed "the phiffer hoop" is a slide in appication. I can run the hoop, 12bar, roller bar, and titainium plate with sliding in and out bars... Super easy, 4 in 1 bar set up...
Re: pics of the everyones 50s
LOL, I know, I posted over there as well. Been away for awhile, and man it fell asleep... If there is a FOTY, looks like yours and mine. Do you still have yours?
Re: pics of the everyones 50s
how u rig that up.. and does it get in the way at alll.and u run tha stock frame right
Re: pics of the everyones 50s
Here is my Yamaha YSR that i'm converting into a stunt bike, I just finished making the brackets for an 95 xr80 motor.

It just needs a chain and it should be rideable, only bad thing is i'm running a straight pipe, so its loud as f*k, but will probably pick up a cheap chinese xr50 copy pipe and use a silencer off that.

Re: pics of the everyones 50s
i'm working on building a 12 bar, and i would love a cage, but i dont have the tools/materials to make a good one, so i'm just rocking some frame sliders, they have held up well so far, i bailed a stand up wheelie doing about 20 or so, and the bike landed on its side and slid for a good 10-15ft, and it rode the slider the whole way. there is a guy who makes custom cages who lives about an hour away, but he would need the bike for at least a week, and charges a min of $100 for a race rail, and starts at $250 for basic cages, but he also makes some sick custom rails, cages, pipes, and anything you could want on a sport/stunt bike.
the stock 50cc 2smoke could hit 70mph, but the powerband was just too twitchy for anything, and dont have to worry about busting up $350 pipes and a 22 year old motor. and the smooth 4-stroke and its bottom end grunt ought to be plenty good for stunting, but i probably wont be going any faster than 35-40mph. But i cant afford to race it anymore anyway. If all goes well, i'll be riding it late this afternoon.

Re: pics of the everyones 50s
damm haha were all did u weld on the stock frame. and u just used 50 stunts mounts to the frame and used diff bars and attachments how is it wit the wheels on backkkk
Re: pics of the everyones 50s
As for the welds. Finish the one under the main tabs for the top of the motor, around the down tube, around the lower mounts, and sub frame. When you look at a stripped frame, you will see all those areas. I don't use 50stunts brakets, I made my own set up after using 50stunts forever. It just worked better for me with the changing of bars. Wheels on the bar? Novelty, that's about it. Dangerous is an understatment. If you don't pay attention, or tuck your shirt in, you will lose it and get tied up in the bar. This is an old vid, but you can get the idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFPejaBoYtY
